Our Physiotherapy and Hydrotherapy Services

11 complementary disciplines for comprehensive healthcare. 5 clinics in Paris and Le Perreux-sur-Marne, 30+ qualified practitioners.

Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is at the core of our practice. Our state-registered physiotherapists treat a full range of musculoskeletal conditions: lower back pain, neck pain, tendinopathies, sprains and joint disorders. Every session begins with a thorough functional assessment to establish a personalised rehabilitation programme.

Our techniques combine manual therapy, joint mobilisation, muscle strengthening and proprioceptive exercises. Depending on your condition, your physiotherapist may recommend hydrotherapy or one of our complementary disciplines to optimise your recovery.

All 5 clinics are equipped with modern rehabilitation facilities: treatment platforms, medical-grade strengthening machines, electrotherapy and ultrasound equipment. Treatment is covered by French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie) with a medical prescription.

Hydrotherapy

Our 40 m² hydrotherapy pool, heated to 32 °C, is a major asset for aquatic rehabilitation. Water buoyancy reduces joint stress by up to 80%, allowing gentle mobilisation of painful or fragile structures. Discover all the benefits of hydrotherapy in our comprehensive guide.

Rehabilitation in a heated pool is particularly recommended after orthopaedic surgery, for rheumatological conditions, chronic back pain and sciatica management. Each session is supervised by a specialist physiotherapist who tailors the aquatic exercises to your condition.

Unsure whether standard physiotherapy or hydrotherapy is right for you? Our article on choosing between hydrotherapy and standard physiotherapy can help you decide. Hydrotherapy is covered by French national health insurance on the same basis as physiotherapy with a medical prescription.

Sports Physiotherapy

Our KineO2 clinic, specialising in sports physiotherapy, supports athletes of all levels with injury prevention, treatment and return-to-sport rehabilitation. Sprains, muscle injuries, tendinopathies, stress fractures: our sports physiotherapists are trained in discipline-specific rehabilitation protocols.

The KineO2 facility is fully equipped for comprehensive return-to-sport programmes: isokinetic machines, stabilometry platforms, instrumented treadmills and a functional strengthening area. The goal is a safe return to sport, with objective criteria validated at every stage of recovery.

For athletes looking to combine rehabilitation with training, our network also includes partner sports facilities supervised by healthcare professionals.

Post-Surgical Rehabilitation

Rehabilitation after surgery is crucial for regaining mobility and independence. Our physiotherapists begin post-surgical rehabilitation from the very first days following the procedure: hip or knee replacement, cruciate ligament reconstruction, shoulder surgery, spinal fusion.

The rehabilitation protocol is established in coordination with your surgeon and adapted to each phase of healing. In the early stages, gentle techniques — passive mobilisation, drainage, cryotherapy — help control inflammation. The programme then progresses gradually towards muscle strengthening and full functional recovery.

For post-surgical recovery, pool-based rehabilitation is a particularly effective complement: water buoyancy allows earlier and less painful weight-bearing and movement.

Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a holistic manual therapy approach that aims to restore mobility across the body's structures: joints, muscles, fascia and viscera. Our osteopaths identify mobility restrictions and postural imbalances that may be causing chronic or recurring pain.

This discipline is particularly well-suited to back pain, cervicogenic headaches, functional digestive disorders and the after-effects of old injuries. Osteopathy complements physiotherapy effectively: while physiotherapy focuses on strengthening and active rehabilitation, osteopathy releases tensions and restores overall balance. To learn more about how these approaches work together, read our article on the differences between therapeutic approaches.

Osteopathy consultations are available without a prescription. Many supplementary health plans (mutuelles) offer an annual allowance for osteopathy sessions.

Pelvic Floor Rehabilitation

Pelvic floor rehabilitation is designed for women and men experiencing pelvic floor disorders: urinary incontinence, organ prolapse, pelvic pain or postnatal difficulties. Our team, comprising specialist physiotherapists and midwives, provides discreet and compassionate care in dedicated treatment rooms.

After childbirth, pelvic floor rehabilitation is prescribed by a doctor or midwife, typically starting 6 to 8 weeks postpartum. Techniques include biofeedback, functional electrical stimulation and manual strengthening exercises. The goal is to restore pelvic floor tone and coordination to prevent long-term complications.

Prescribed pelvic floor rehabilitation sessions are fully covered by French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie). Our practitioners welcome you in complete confidentiality at the Kineau clinic.

Sophrology

Sophrology uses controlled breathing techniques, muscular relaxation and positive visualisation to help you manage stress, anxiety and chronic pain. Integrated into our multidisciplinary care programme, it enhances the effectiveness of rehabilitation by addressing the psycho-emotional component of pain.

Our sophrology sessions are particularly recommended alongside physiotherapy for patients with fibromyalgia, chronic back pain, sleep disorders or post-traumatic stress. Sophrology is also effective for athletes' mental preparation and managing apprehension before surgery.

Sessions are conducted individually at the clinic. No prescription is required, and costs may be partially covered by certain supplementary health plans (mutuelles).

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Clinical hypnotherapy, or medical hypnosis, is a recognised technique for managing pain, anxiety and phobias. By inducing a modified state of consciousness, the practitioner helps the patient mobilise internal resources to alter their perception of pain and reduce associated muscle tension.

Within our clinic, hypnotherapy is used alongside physiotherapy for patients with chronic pain resistant to conventional treatments, anxiety related to rehabilitation, or specific phobias (fear of water before hydrotherapy, post-traumatic apprehension).

Hypnotherapy sessions are available without a prescription. Some supplementary health plans (mutuelles) cover part of the cost under their complementary medicine allowance.

Acupuncture

Rooted in traditional Chinese medicine, acupuncture involves stimulating precise points on the body with fine needles to restore energy flow and relieve pain. This ancient practice is now recognised by the World Health Organization (WHO) for treating numerous conditions, including chronic pain, headaches and musculoskeletal disorders.

At our clinic, acupuncture is offered alongside physiotherapy for patients with persistent pain, deep muscular tension or functional disorders. Sessions are carried out by a trained practitioner and last between 30 and 45 minutes.

Acupuncture is available without a prescription. When performed by a registered acupuncturist physician, it may be partially covered by French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie).

Dietetics

Nutrition plays a vital role in recovery from injury, in preventing relapses and in athletic performance. Our dietitian offers personalised consultations to tailor your diet to your health goals: weight loss, muscle gain, diabetes management, or nutritional rebalancing.

Appropriate nutritional support accelerates tissue healing, reduces chronic inflammation and improves the quality of muscular recovery. For athletes undergoing sports physiotherapy, the dietary component is an often underestimated driver of performance.

Dietetics consultations are available without a prescription. They may be covered under certain national health programmes or by your supplementary health plan (mutuelle).

Podiatry

The foot is the foundation of posture and movement. A podiatric imbalance can trigger a chain of pain: feet, knees, hips, back. Our podiatrist carries out a full postural assessment including static and dynamic gait analysis and pressure platform testing.

Where necessary, custom orthotic insoles are designed to correct weight-bearing and postural issues. These orthotics are particularly beneficial for athletes (injury prevention, movement optimisation), patients with foot conditions (bunions, plantar fasciitis, metatarsalgia) and individuals undergoing post-surgical rehabilitation of the lower limb.

A podiatric assessment is available without a prescription. Orthotic insoles prescribed by a doctor are partially covered by French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie).
